The campus where we took a look specializes in rehabilitation. The visitors get all kinds of demonstrations. How a robot is used during surgery, or how a machine can help with your rehabilitation.
The department can count on many visitors who are curious about all the gadgets and possibilities in the department: “I think I will probably also need a prosthesis there soon. And also for the youngest among us there is a lot to experience with, among other things, a playful course, the adults undergo tests that are a daily given in the workplace.
Ilse d’Hspeel of AZ Delta underlines the importance of a day like that today: “We notice that there is a lot of interest of people of what is happening in a hospital. What happens behind the scenes? And on a day like today, day of care, people get to see what is happening behind those screens.”
And who knows, some people can warm up for a job in healthcare, because the shortage remains.
