Friends of Appie Baantjer, the original author of the book series about detective De Cock, have found an unfinished new story written by him. The writer is believed to have been working on this text when he died in 2010. The manuscript is called De Cock and the Murder as Redemption and has about 8000 words. Peter Römer, who has taken over the series from Baantjer, reported this on Friday in an interview on NPO Radio 1.
