Simplicity is a trump card in recipes when everyday life presses on. Chive cream cheese brings creaminess and richness to this easy tuna pasta.
The perfect everyday meal is ready in just an hour, when you make the sauce while the pasta is boiling until cooked. If you wish, you can try replacing the tuna with domestic natural canned fish.
Tuna pasta
2 pcs of tuna
1 onion
100 g chive cottage cheese
1 tsp tomato paste
a pinch of salt
a pinch of black pepper
2 teaspoons of dried basil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
grated Parmesan on top of the dish
pasta (e.g. tagliatelle)
1. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Chop the onion while the pasta water is boiling and saute the chopped onion in olive oil in a pan.
2. Add crushed tomatoes, tuna, salt, pepper and basil to the pan and let it boil.
3. Finally, mix the cream cheese and lemon juice into the sauce and boil again quickly. Serve the tuna sauce with the cooked pasta.
