For a good 85 minutes, there was poor football in the third division basement duel between TSV Havelse and Alemannia Aachen. But then there were two late goals – and the game at the end of the first half of the season ended 1-1 (0-0.
After a tough 86 minutes, Havelse’s Marko Ilic seemed to have succeeded in the lucky punch on Sunday. From almost 25 meters he flicked the ball unstoppably into the right corner – a dream goal and the striker’s third goal of the season. But Aachen struck back immediately. The eye-catching Lars Gindorf passed through to Kwasi Wriedt, who had just been substituted, in the penalty area, who finished dry – the 1-1 and the final score.
A spectacular end to what had previously been an extremely lean basement duel. Because all in all, it was anything but gourmet football that the spectators were treated to.
