The laundry provider Triumph relies on a management duo in Germany. On Tuesday, Munich-based Triumph International GmbH announced the appointment of Georgios Paparas as second managing director.
In this role, the 50-year-old will be responsible for sales, marketing and merchandising across all sales channels at Triumph Germany, the company said in a statement. Paparas will report directly to Roman Braun, managing partner of the Triumph Group, and will lead the German business together with Karl-Heinz Gerl, who will continue to be responsible for operations.
Paparas has been working for Triumph for nine years and has held various management positions during this time. Until his recent promotion, as Head of Wholesale Europe & Global Export, he managed the European wholesale business and “brand management in the export markets”.
The expansion of management in the “strategically important core market” of Germany is taking place “as part of a realignment of the Triumph Group,” which aims to “position the international markets closer to the end customer, more agile and with clear responsibilities,” the company explained in a statement. “The new management structure is intended to shorten decision-making processes, optimize processes and sustainably strengthen market performance.”
