Céleste must save the Éléphant Rose
In the first episode airing tonight, Céleste must come up with an innovative trick to try to save the Éléphant Rosethreatened with closure by the minister following the striptease scandal. Meanwhile, Arsène decides to go to America, but is stopped by his sister adoptive Augustine (Mathilde Seigner) who asks him for help to find her lover Octave. Rose, for her part, decides to leave the brothel and pose for an unknown painter from Montmartredespite the warnings of his sister Céleste.
In the next episodethe policeman Léon (Hugo Becker) agrees to have Céleste accompany him to Saint-Loup to help him investigate his father’s murder. In parallel, Octave and Arsène are looking for money for their project to build an electric motor. To raise the money, the two they organize a boxing match clandestine. Meanwhile, Rose, who believed she knew Charles and had found a safe haven in him, discovers his true identity. And the consequences will be unpredictable.

In addition to the good Alice Dufour in the role of the protagonist, the series can also count on the presence of the young and talented Victor Meutelet and Claire Romain. The actor, who plays the tormented Arséne, has starred in Emily in Paris (it was Timothée, Emily’s brief flirtation in the first season) and recently he played Johnny Hallyday in the film Monseur Aznavour.
Claire Romain, on the other hand, is an actress born in 1995 who gained notoriety thanks to TV series Here everything begins. With a career that ranges from auteur cinema to TV, Claire recently starred in the Netflix series Cat’s eyes inspired by the Japanese manga of the same name.

Who is Blanche Cavelli, the “real” dancer who inspired the character of Céleste in Montmartre
Born near Paris in 1875, Blanche Cavellipseudonym of Eugénie Zélia Chevallier, was a French artist active in the lively theater scene Parisian of the Belle Époque. From a very young age, she performs as a singer, actress and dancer but his fame is linked above all to show Le Coucher d’Yvetteperformed in 1894 in Paris.
In this performance, Blanche played a woman getting ready for bed, progressively undressing in front of the audience.
