The carriers continue with the indefinite unemployment convened by the Platform for the Defense of the National and International Road Freight Transport Sector, which claims to represent the medium and small companies that represent the 85% of the industry. The effects are already being felt by consumers, with a lack of supplies, especially of fresh produce from Andalusia. Negotiations between employers and the Government, which have offered aid to professionals that have not materialized, have been unsuccessful and more and more carrier associations are joining. This Thursday a meeting with the Government is scheduled but the mobilizations do not stop.
