Train traffic between Assen and Groningen has resumed. There were no trains running in either direction between 5:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. due to a collision.
Travelers who wanted to go to Groningen had to take the bus.
The police informed on X that around 5.15 am this morning there was a collision between a person and a train near the Helperpark in Groningen.
