Tot 800,000 euros offered in the following year: two tightening for dierenmishandeling unaniem goedgekeurd

Het Flemish Parlement does not have the light on the big one for higher boats and longer cell tightening in dierenmishandeling. The decree of Minister van Dierenwelzijn Ben Weyts (N-VA) stipulates that dierenbeulen for up to 5 years can be punished with a prison sentence. Bij recidive gaat that zelfs around 10 years. According to Minister Weyts, he has decreed that he shall not be allowed to defend his rights.
