Skater shows teeth towards KNSB
AMSTERDAM – The members of the selection committee had not taken this into account for a while. Patrick Roest, one of the showpieces within the Olympic long track selection, is angry about the distribution of the starting tickets because he is not allowed to participate in the 1500 meters. In addition, Roest denounces the ‘poor communication’ from the skating association and threatens not to participate in the team pursuit at the European Distance Championships next Friday.
