The Tax Agency and the Civil Guard have apprehended 2,011 kilos of cocaine from Ecuador in an action carried out in the port of Algeciras.

The operation began when, within the framework of controls on containers from South America that are usually carried out by the Algeciras Customs Risk Analysis Unit (UAR), the arrival of various pieces of equipment from Ecuador and it was valued that in some of them could be found camouflaged the narcotic substance.

Customs Surveillance officials of the Tax Agency and Civil Guards, found in one of the containers 1,741 hidden pickups that contained a white substance and floury presentation, which gave a positive result to the ‘narcotest’ for cocaine, with a gross weight of about 2,011 kilos, as reported this Friday by the Tax Agency.
