Actor Leonid Kuravlev was a kind and funny person, but he was strict with himself and rather reserved, his colleagues told RBC.
Actress Valentina Talyzina, who starred with Kuravlev in Athos, thanks to which the actor became famous, said that he was a funny, kind and open person.
“I don’t know where he was from, he loved everyone,” the actress recalls.
According to her, Kuravlev and the director of “Afoni” Georgy Danelia “sculpted” this film together. The success was well-deserved, Talyzina is sure, but after that Kuravlev became quite withdrawn.
