The Walking Dead star Moses J. Moseley has died

Model and actor Moses J. Moseley, who appeared in six episodes of The Walking Dead, passed away last week.

Moseley’s body was found last Wednesday (January 26) and the circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Investigative authorities told TMZ that they would investigate the case as a possible suicide.

A relative also revealed that Moseley’s body was found in Strobridge, Georgia. How the body got there is being investigated by the investigative authorities. The family last heard from him on January 23. After he could not be found in any hospital, the family then submitted a missing person report.

The actor’s car was later located. Moseley died from a shot in the head, but it’s not yet clear who fired the shot, the deceased’s family said.

Mosleey was loved by everyone who met him, his manager Tabitha Minchew said. His last post on Instagram was a 10 year challenge where he posted two pictures 10 years apart. The post has included expressions of condolence from his fans since his death became known.

Moseley’s role in The Walking Dead brought the actor some fame. He even made the cover of an issue of Entertainment Weekly. In a 2017 interview, he thanked the show’s fans for their support.

“I just want to say thank you for your support,” Moseley said at the time. “All the love you give to the show, the actors, the directors and the crew who helped make it happen. I hope you watch it over and over again. Thank you so much for all your love and support. It means the world to me and without you we are nothing.”

Born in Aiken, South Carolina, Moseley began working as a model in 2010. In addition to The Walking Dead, he has appeared in the series Watchmen, Queen of the South, and American Soul.
