The campaign ended. And it has started again: both Mauricio Macri and Patricia Bullrich, former allies, are thinking about their political future.
Bullrich came out stronger. Not only because he won but because of how he did it: his team insists that his numbers, more than 50%, are above the average for La Libertad Avanza at the national level.

“That’s because she has something to contribute, everyone has to take note,” they say close to her. Translated, that means that they should pave the way for him for one of his great ambitions: to go in search of the head of the Buenos Aires Government in 2027, a bet in which he will face Macri and his cousin Jorge, the mayor, who will go for re-election. Meanwhile, the official is preparing to leave her place in the Ministry of Security to Alejandra Monteoliva, from her own team.

Macri, for his part, does not want to be forgotten. Meeting with Milei through, he will try to keep the PRO bloc united as much as he can in Congress. That’s where his historic right-hand man, Fernando de Andreis, came in. He also warned that in 2027 his space will have its own candidate, although many took it as just a wish.
