The State Department has ordered non-critical US diplomats in Kiev to leave Ukraine. About it says on the page of the US Embassy in Kiev on Twitter.
“Today, the State Department ordered non-critical diplomats to leave the US Embassy in Kiev,” the embassy said in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry noted that such a decision was made in connection with the growing threat of an invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine. The diplomatic mission added that the main part of the US Embassy team, despite the reduction in staff, will continue to work in Kiev.
