During the pandemic, the number of couriers has increased significantly; they often drive along sidewalks at high speeds. There are also those who drive on highways without following the traffic rules.
If employers have to control the speed of their employees, this will significantly improve the situation, says the coordinator of the public project “Movement” Andrei Orel.
Viktor Travin, President of the Board of Legal Protection of Car Owners, shares a similar opinion. He explained that the obligation to comply with the speed of movement when delivering goods and goods could be prescribed in the employment contract, and in case of violation, the couriers could be fined for violation of labor discipline.
