The Municipality of Groningen does not want additional gas extraction and is considering a lawsuit

The Groningen city council unanimously approved a motion against the government’s plans to extract twice as much gas this gas year as agreed. The city council is prepared to go to court if the new cabinet does not comply with the agreements.
