The Ministry of Health of Russia has extended the expiration date of the Epivaccorona vaccine against coronavirus infection, the Vector Center of Rospotrebnadzor reported. TASS.

“The Ministry of Health approved changes to the instructions for the use of the vaccine, and the expiration date is ten months for the EpiVakKorona vaccine, manufactured at the site of the Federal Budgetary Institution of State Research Center of the World Bank “Vector” of Rospotrebnadzor, and nine months for the industrial sites of Vector-Bialgam and Geropharm,” — said the developer of the drug.

“Vector” and scientists responded to a study on the futility of “EpiVakKorona”

Vector explained that the extension of expiration dates for different times is due to the different inclusion of production sites. “In this regard, the expiration dates, which are necessarily confirmed by data on the study of the stability of series produced at a particular production site, differ,” the center added.

In addition, the vaccine developer conceded that expiration dates could be further extended as more data becomes available.
