The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda has established minimum services for the easyJet cabin crew strike (TCP) of 57% of flights at Barcelona airport, 56% at Malaga airport and 51% at Palma de Mallorca airport .
This has been communicated by the Ministry to the airline, Aena and the convening union, USO Sector Aéreo, for the strike days scheduled for the days July 1, 2, 3, 15, 16, 17, 29, 30 and 31, 2022corresponding to the first, third and fifth and last weekend of that month.
These essential services are intended to “harmonize the general interest of citizens and in particular their needs for mobilitywith the right to strike of this group of workers”, the Ministry indicated in a press release.
According to the information provided by easyjet itself to the Ministry, about 420 workers make up the group that performs tcp work in the three bases that the company has in Spain, specifically in Barcelona, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca.

It will be the airline who establishes what the affected flights for these minimum services and must guarantee the safety of all operations.
The airline and the unions have met this Thursday in the Interconfederal Mediation and Arbitration Service (SIMA), without reaching an agreement, so the unions maintain the call for a strike but assure that they maintain their willingness to dialogue.
