A fire broke out on a refrigerator ship in the port of Vladivostok, reported in the press service of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Primorsky Territory.
According to the department, the message about the fire was received on February 3 at 5:00 local time (February 2, 22:00 Moscow time). “Three minutes later, firefighters were on the scene. Before the arrival of firefighters, 18 people evacuated from the ship to the shore,» the report says.
At the time of the fire, the ship was moored at the pier on Krygina Street, smoke was coming from the laundry room on the second deck, the Ministry of Emergency Situations specified.
The fire area was 10 square meters. m., there were no dead or injured, the department added.
