The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) called on European countries not to use the media as a weapon in the political crisis between Ukraine and Russia, and to respect the right to information. This is reported TASS with reference to the statement of the organization.
“The International Federation of Journalists and the European Federation of Journalists are calling on the authorities in Europe, where heightened tensions around the crisis between Russia and Ukraine have led to increased restrictions and threats to the media, to avoid using the media as a weapon in this crisis. The right to unrestricted access to information is a fundamental right.
