The process of spreading the omicron strain of coronavirus in the regions of Russia can take from two weeks. About it informed Deputy Director of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor Alexander Gorelov in an interview with Izvestia.
“From two weeks. Quickly, because the holidays ended with the fact that Omicron was brought to us from 20 countries,” the specialist explained.
