People’s militia of the DPR: Kiev secretly banned the release of military conscripts from Ukraine

According to the intelligence of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Ukrainian border guards received orders under various pretexts not to let out of the country men liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 45. About this, as reported TASSEduard Basurin, official representative of the People’s Militia of the DPR, said at a briefing.

“According to our undercover intelligence, on February 2, the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine [Сергеем] Deineko was instructed to restrict the departure from the country of military-servicable male citizens aged 18 to 45 from February 20, ”Basurin said.

He clarified that in order to avoid panic, the order is unspoken: border guards must refuse to leave, citing bureaucratic reasons, such as the absence of information about issued visas in the database, the presence of cases of administrative offenses, non-payment of alimony and other reasons.

Basurin also said that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry asked the embassies and diplomatic missions of other countries to inform their citizens about the need to leave Donbass.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine asks diplomatic missions to secretly inform citizens of foreign states about the need to leave the zone of the joint forces operation as soon as possible (the military operation of Kiev – ed.). TASS) in the Donbass,” the DPR representative said.
