“In court instead of on stage!” – the first posters are hanging in Berlin-Kreuzberg, directed against the three Rammstein concerts in the Olympic Stadium. It’s supposed to start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, before the number one concert in the capital, at Theodor-Heuss-Platz. Then the march of the demonstrators moves to the Olympic Stadium.
“No Rammstein in Berlin” is also written on the posters at the corner of Kottbusser Damm and Sanderstrasse. Painted on it is a woman holding the sole of her shoe towards the viewer, ready to kick; in the grooves the lettering “Stop the Patriarchy” – “stop the patriarchy”.
Rammstein singer Till Lindemann is accused of abusive behavior by several women, and the Berlin public prosecutor is investigating the 60-year-old. There is a petition against the three performances – and the announcement of a demo so that the concerts are canceled.
