What happened to SONGS OF A LOST WORLD?

This is the second new edition of The Cure in just a few years, even though they had actually announced something completely different. They have long since recorded a completely new record called SONGS OF A LOST WORLD, but there is no release date for it yet. The group around Robert Smith has already performed some unreleased songs live during their “Shows of a Lost World” tour.
