The employers issue a joint statement regarding the decision of Educació to implement the intensive day from September 5 to 30
The announcement of the implementation of the intensive day in September in all the infant and primary centers of Catalonia, regardless of their ownership, for the next school year 2022/23 has been received with surprise and astonishment in the Schools concerted, which until now were not forced to adopt this measure. Until now, the Department of Education gave the possibility to concerted schools to apply the intensive day in June, an option that practically none of these centers used. In these schools, classes usually end at 5:00 p.m.
The employers held emergency meetings this Thursday and at the end of the day they issued a joint statement in which guarantee the educational service in the morning and afternoon during the month of September. “The concerted school, as of September 5, is made fully available to its students and families and guarantees care in the morning and afternoon, as has been done until now & rdquor ;, reads the signed statement , among other entities, for Catalan School Association, the Christian School Foundation of Catalonia (FECC) and the Federation of Peer and Sea Associations of High Schools of Catalonia (FAPEL).
