The City ready to welcome Aguero back: for the Kun there will be a place in society

At Etihad, there is a plan by City to offer Kun a role as club ambassador. After all, few like him represent the winning and famous Citizens all over the world.

Kun Aguero grew up in Independiente football, got big in Atletico Madrid and finished his career (due to a heart problem) as a Barcelona player, but his name will forever be closely linked to Manchester City . His arrival in 2011 kicked off the golden age of the Citizens, who together with him have won the Premier League five times and came very close to triumphing in the Champions League as well. Of course, all stories, even the most beautiful, have an end and therefore the farewell has arrived, not before becoming the best scorer in the history of the club and also the most prolific foreigner ever in the Premier League.

AMBASSADOR – It is therefore normal that, after honoring Vincent Kompany and David Silva, the club decided to dedicate a statue to him at Etihad. After all, perhaps, without his last-second goal to snatch the 2011/12 title from Ferguson’s United, City would not have been so successful. And considering how well the team has done … since he’s been there, it doesn’t seem like a bad idea to get him back into society. The Sun he explains in fact that there is a plan by the City to propose to the Kun a role as club ambassador. After all, few like him represent the winning and famous Citizens all over the world. And considering that the two former colleagues who have their statue are busy, one as a coach and the other at Real Sociedad, the honor could go to Aguero.

OTHER FORMER COLLEAGUES – The Argentine is expected to join a club of other great exes, led by Mike Summerbee, one of the symbols of the City who won the First Division in 1968, but also by much more recent players such as Joleon Lescott, Shaun Wright Phillips and Micah Richards, all former Kun teammates. Who is currently on vacation in Uruguay, after the emotions of the press conference with which he announced his retirement, but who could soon return to the Etihad through the front door. Of course, he might have wanted to do it with shoes on, but fate has decided otherwise. But for sure, as a City ambassador he could be perfect. Almost as much as … as a center forward!
