The blown up al-Qureishi will be replaced by al-Isawi

The new leader of a terrorist group “Islamic State” (banned in Russia) will be a native of Iraq, al-Isawi – so far only his last name is known. Al-Isawi previously served as deputy leader of ISIS.

Earlier it became known about the death of the current leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Kureishi. He blew himself up to avoid being captured by the US military. During the explosion, his wife and children, neighbors who lived on the first floor of the house, died. The militant is believed to have been the most senior member of IS since the death of former leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The operation took place in Syria. After the attack, eight children were rescued from the building alive. Later it became known that an American helicopter was accidentally destroyed during a special operation.
