The prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan opened a case against a woman who threw a girl into a bear enclosure. The incident took place on Friday, January 28, in Tashkent.
The woman is charged with attempted aggravated murder of a person who was in a helpless state. Sanctions under this article provide for a minimum of 15 years in prison.
Everything happened in the Tashkent zoo. Woman for some reason threw the baby into the kennel. The bear, in turn, went up to the girl, sniffed her and walked away. Soon, employees of the institution lured the animal into the interior of the enclosure.
Currently, the child is under the supervision of doctors. The zoo will cover all medical expenses.
