The company will develop a software update that will block access to video games while the car is moving. The decision was made after discussing this issue with the regulator. It was not specified whether the NHTSA will require Tesla to formally recall the electric cars to reinstall the software.

Passenger Play allows you to play video games on the big screen of your electric vehicle’s multimedia system. The option appeared in Tesla cars last December. Before that, video games could only be played in a parked car.
