Originally, the duels should have started on Monday at 5 a.m. German time. Now they should start at 6.15 a.m. German time. According to the reports, there was nothing to suggest the postponement a few minutes before the originally scheduled start. Reasons were not given.

The Australian media speculated that the postponement was about the pending decision by the Australian authorities on Novak Djokovic’s visa. The number 1 tennis star violated the country’s corona regulations when he entered the country. A final decision can be expected in the early morning hours of Thursday, German time.
