Telstar Women on return to the Eredivisie led by Marelle Worm

The Telstar women’s team will be led by Marelle Worm next season. The 32-year-old Worm is still the trainer of the Haarlem top division DSS.

As a player, Worm played six seasons in the Eredivisie for ADO Den Haag. Worm ended her career at a relatively young age due to a cruciate ligament injury and then became a trainer. She has been at the helm of DSS for the past three seasons. She promoted to the top league with the Haarlem-squad.

Telstar announced at the end of last month that the women’s team will return to the highest level. Fortuna Sittard was also admitted to the Eredivisie, which means that the highest division in women’s football will have eleven teams next season.
