Team Rogue in Six Invitational Playoffs

Despite losing to Spacestation Gaming (0:2) in the last game of the group stage of the Six Invitational, the German Rainbow Six team Rogue has qualified for the playoffs.

“We had many opportunities to end that streak in our favor,” Rogue’s captain Leon “LeonGids” Giddens tweeted after the match, “but we blew it.” In two tight rounds (5:7; 5:7), the German team had no answer to the dominant performance of the American Nathanial “Rampy” Duvall, who almost single-handedly led his team to victory.

The loss to SSG resulted in Rogue finishing fourth in the group. As a result, the team has to prove itself in the losers bracket in the coming matchdays.

The promoted team in the European League, MNM Gaming, was also able to reach fourth place in the group. Natus Vincere secured third-place playoff participation in the upper half of the tournament.

Tournament elimination at the Six Invitational for BDS

Surprisingly, European Champion Team BDS dropped out of the Six Invitational early. At the start of the tournament, the Swiss were without player Adrien “RaFaLe” Rutik, who was replaced by coach Arnaud “BiOs” Billaudel.

This led to a disappointing team performance, which hardly improved even after RaFaLe returned to the squad. By the end of the group stage, it was unclear why the player wasn’t available from the start. BDS captain Bryan “Elemzje” Tebessi tweeted after the tournament ended: “This is a serious matter that we cannot communicate immediately”.
