Lord of the Rings – The public was never missed so much in corona time as during the very last ride in Thialf by Sven Kramer. In front of packed stands it turned out to be a lengthy and emotional tribute in a hurricane of noise in which the skating king was perhaps stimulated to an extreme effort. But Saturday afternoon it became a quiet and sterile nothing in a mediocre time.
