The next football chapter for Daley Blind looks like Bayern Munich. The Amsterdammer recently had his contract terminated with Ajax and now continues his career with the German record master.

Daley Blind left this morning at 7 am from Schiphol for southern Germany. This reported the Telegraph. The 32-year-old defender would sign a contract until the end of the season. With this, Bayern Munich responds to the failure of Lucas Hernández. The French defender sustained a serious injury at the World Cup in Qatar.

Blind played two periods for Ajax. With the team from Amsterdam he won seven national titles and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2019.

Opposite the departure of Blind is the arrival of Gerónimo Rulli. The 30-year-old Argentinian goalkeeper comes over from Villarreal. Rulli is expected to arrive in Amsterdam today and sign a multi-year contract.

This weekend Ajax resumes the competition in Nijmegen against NEC.
