Studio2Retail is entering the second round at Berlin Fashion Week in March

NEWS: STUDIO2RETAIL ENTERS A SECOND ROUND AT BERLIN FASHION WEEK IN MARCH! BERLIN BRANDS CAN APPLY IMMEDIATELY FOR THE PRIZE MONEY TOTALING 60,000 EUROS

We are pleased to announce that after a successful start last season, Studio2Retail is entering a second round for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week from March 14th to 19th, 2022.

Berlin, : On behalf of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses, the Fashion Council Germany would like to use the program to direct the focus of end consumers to the diverse retail trade and exciting designers in Berlin. With exclusive shopping events, studio insights and pop-ups, stationary retail is to be made more attractive again for end consumers.

As part of this network, we would like to invite fashion designers, retailers and creative people to apply for Studio2Retail and thus offer their customers a special Fashion Week experience. Anyone who has a shop, studio or showroom in Berlin and would like to open the doors can become part of Studio2Retail. Studio2Retail supports the activation and communication of events. These are listed on our website and shown on an interactive map. The Fashion Council Germany also provides the participants with free advertising material and advertises the events on its social media channels. In addition, the project will be integrated into the advertising campaign for Berlin Fashion Week, which will draw the attention of end consumers to the events.

APPLICATION:

In addition, Berlin-based designers and retailers have until Thursday, February 17, 2022 to submit a creative event concept (show, performance, installation, store event, pop-up, etc.) and receive prize money for the to win implementation. A total of €60,000 is being made available by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Businesses. The winning concepts will be awarded €10,000 and €5,000 respectively. A jury will select the best concepts and announce the winning concepts on February 21, 2022.

About Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises / Projekt Zukunft

Since 2007, the Senate Administration has made a significant contribution to the development of the fashion industry and the Fashion Week at the location through its state initiative Projekt Zukunft with grants and orders of well over 10 million euros. In addition to the funding for the Berlin Fashion Week, the joint presentations for the Paris Fashion Week, presentation opportunities for the Berlin Art Week (Fashion Positions) as well as workshops and coaching services in cooperation with the Fashion Council Germany are supported. The development of an additional permanent fashion hub on the topics of sustainability and digitization as well as the A-GAIN GUIDE (circular economy) are currently in preparation.
