The match between AZ Women and Fortuna Sittard has been canceled due to a medical situation with a staff member of the Alkmaar club. The incident happened just before the match. In consultation with the KNVB and the opponent, it was decided to play the match at a different time, AZ announced on their website. The match was actually supposed to start at 7:30 PM.
The new date for this match is currently unknown. The person was conscious and taken to hospital for further examination. The players and other attendees were so frightened that playing was considered impossible.
