Mr.’s stores Euro are temporarily in vacant buildings. Once the space is sold, the euro store has two months to pack its things. In Zoetermeer the business opens on Saturday, October 18 in the former Party Point building in the Dorpsstraat. This property is for sale.

Thousands of items

In the weeks before the opening, a team of employees is busy furnishing the vacant building with thousands of items. At Mr. You really think Euro of everything; from candy to home accessories and from craft supplies to Christmas decorations. Martha fills the shelves in the DIY corner. “Everything is neatly sorted by product.”

Leftovers

Maybe you’ve been to one of the Mr. Euro shops on the Scheveningen pier or on the Leyweg in The Hague. Owner Mitch Domijn says: “Most Mr. Euro stores are temporary, but the one on the Leyweg is permanent. We sell leftovers for only one euro each. This attracts a lot of people, who stand in front of the cash register with overflowing shopping baskets.”

Mr. Euro in Zoetermeer

Mr. Euro in Zoetermeer opens on Saturday, October 18 at 11 a.m. “We are open from Thursday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.,” says Mitch. “We will remain open until approximately two months after the property has been sold. This could be this year, but it could just as well be a longer period of time.”

Mr. Euro can be found at Dorpsstraat 156 in Zoetermeer. Party shop Party Point has moved to Dorpsstraat 127D.
