Hopeful start for Max Verstappen in Austin, Lando Norris fastest during the first and only free practice

Max Verstappen started the sprint weekend in Austin with hope. The Dutchman recorded the fifth fastest time in the first and only free practice for the United States GP, but the difference with the McLarens was manageable. Lando Norris went three tenths faster with a 1:33.294. Nico Hülkenberg was the surprising number 2, at two tenths.
