Statement of the day | Rightly so that AH employees continue to strike, despite the discomfort of empty shelves

The strikes at the distribution centers of supermarket chain Albert Heijn are not over yet, FNV announced on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the consequences of the strikes are increasingly felt by customers. More shelves are empty every day. Uncomfortable and annoying, because we are not used to that in the Netherlands. Some shelves were also a bit emptier during corona times, but it hasn’t been as empty as it is now in some Albert Heijns since the Second World War.

Are you annoyed by this inconvenience? Are you going to another supermarket now? Do you perhaps plan to never go to an Albert Heijn again out of anger? Or do you understand the actions and do you support the staff of the distribution centers?
