Unemployment has not been this low in fifty years. At the same time, there is a screaming staff shortage. Should wages go up? Is paying a decent salary the solution to the staff shortage?

In fifty years, unemployment was not that low and the staff shortage not so high. This causes enormous headaches for entrepreneurs, but offers employees opportunities for a better-paid job.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) announced that unemployment fell to 3.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021.
