Spaag acquires Germinal to form a major player in digital marketing

It’s official : Spaag acquires Germinal and its training platform l’Antichambre. With a fairly close positioning, particularly in the field of digital marketing training, the two young companies are now one.

Spaag acquires Germinal to respond to new business growth issues

With this merger, Spaag and its parent company Sparkling Partners will be able to offer “global support for companies to help them grow: from entrepreneurs and VSEs with l’Antichambre, to large groups or French ETIs thanks to its growth hacking firm”. A natural takeover according to Spaag’s press release. Germinal, an online incubator created by Grégoire Gambatto (whom we received on Culture Numérique), Paco Villetard and Benjamin Gabay in 2018, is recognized for its expertise in growth hacking and “its effective methodology”.

Since its inception, Germinal has evolved. In particular, the company has developed its own training platform called l’Antichambre. The Germinal teams also lead a community of several hundred entrepreneurs and contribute to their growth. For Claire Jenvrin, the new CEO of Germinal, this merger is very good news. It believes that this takeover should “allow, thanks to our complementary value propositions, to meet all the needs of companies in terms of growth”.

Germinal: an ally of choice in growth hacking?

The idea is simple, with their common strike force, Spaag and Germinal want that when one wishes to grow, it calls on them. Claire Jenvrin adds that “Spaag and Germinal are two companies guided by the same values and the same ambitions”. So yes, this collaboration looks very promising. Spaag, a company known and recognized for its support in digital marketing and its positioning as an outsourced marketing team, has seen Germinal as an ally of choice to support companies in their growth.

The profession of growth hacker is still too little known to the general public. When Grégoire Gambatto was at the microphone of Culture Numérique, he said that a growth hacker is “above all a person who will generate growth in an unconventional way and whose main objective will be to generate sales and leads directly”. Together, the two young French shoots will continue to convey common values, with the aim of becoming a leader in the digital marketing sector, at the service of business growth.
