Skicrosser Wilmsmann in brilliant form

Skicrosser Florian Wilmsmann presented himself in brilliant form around three weeks before the start of the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

The 25-year-old from TSV Hartpenning finished second in the World Cup race in Nakiska, Canada, and celebrated his best result of the season.

Victory went to local hero Kristofor Mahler. In the women’s category, the strong Swede Sandra Näslund won again. The other German starters had not previously made it past the quarter-finals.
