Sjinkie Knegt looks doubtful

BEIJING – A big chunk of frustration in the person of Sjinkie Knegt enters the mixed zone of the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing on Monday. The 32-year-old Friesian is not only disappointed with his elimination in the quarter-finals of the 1000 meters, but especially the way in which the two-time Olympic medal winner is concerned. For more than fifteen minutes Knegt spits his bile about the system, which, according to him, only causes unrest and frustration. With two penalties, Knegt said goodbye to the kilometer five minutes earlier.
