He played two World Cup finals, won the European Cup I and the UEFA Cup with Feyenoord and was one of the best Dutch football players in the golden seventies. Yet Wim Jansen died on Tuesday at the age of 75 because of his introverted character, not nearly as well-known to the general public as many contemporaries.
