“After 9 years, I feel like I’ve swam through just about all Ketnet waters,” Sien Wynants explained her decision to stop. “I have experienced the daily live wrap, Kingsize Live, the very first small Gala to the Sportpaleis. Often spent abroad and made beautiful programs. The circle is round. Ten years would have been a nice round number, but that’s exactly why I’m doing it now. I’m open to any new challenge, for at least nine years!” Her colleague, Thomas Van Achteren, will soon close the door of the Ketnet studio behind her. “Over the past eight years I have done so many great things at Ketnet that I could only dream of before. “Good evening guys and girls!!!” In an overcrowded Sports Palace. Sien and Thomas will continue to be seen on Ketnet in the coming weeks. They say goodbye at the Gala of the Golden K’s in April. Meanwhile, Ketnet is again launching a search for a new wrapper. It will start on Sunday, May 1. It is already the fourth time that the search has been organized. Charlotte Leysen came out on top in the first edition of the program, Sien Wynants was chosen in 2012 and in 2019 the program led to the discovery of Gloria Monserez.
