The Real Madrid player has denounced the events on social networks
Sevilla is already working on the relevant sanctions
Vinicius Jr was the victim of another racist episode at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán against Sevilla, match in which several individuals made monkey-like gestures from the stands. Given this, the Real Madrid player has issued a statement on social networks:
This is the full statement from Vinicius:
“Congratulations to Sevilla for the quick action and sanction in another sad episode for Spanish football.”
“Unfortunately I have access to a video of another racist in this Saturday’s game, this time made by a girl. It is a shame that there is no one to educate her. I invest a lot in education in Brazil to form citizens with different attitudes.”
“The face of today’s racist is plastered on the web pages like so many other times. I hope that the Spanish authorities will do their part and change the legislation for once. These people also need to be criminally punished.”
“It would be a great first step to prepare for the 2030 World Cup. I’m here to help.”
“Sorry for sounding repetitive, but this is episode number 10. And counting…”
The match ended with a 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Sevilla. Carlo Ancelotti’s team left two key points in the fight for leadership, one week before the Clásico match against FC Barcelona.
