Several vaccination locations closed on Sunday due to gusts of wind

The vaccination locations against the corona virus will close in several places in the country on Sunday, because the KNMI expects heavy gusts of wind. This is done with a view to the safety of visitors and vaccination staff, regional GGDs announced on Saturday.

In and around Rotterdam, two vaccination locations are closing, namely the one at the SS Rotterdam and the one at the Poortugaal metro station in the municipality of Albrandswaard. In the north of North Holland, the vaccination location in Middenmeer will remain closed all Sunday. People who then have an injection appointment can go to the vaccination location in the village of Hem, between Hoorn and Enkhuizen. The puncture location in Alkmaar will remain closed until 2 p.m., and people who had an appointment before that can come by in the afternoon.

Due to the wind gusts, code yellow applies in almost the entire country on Sunday, with the exception of Groningen, Drenthe and Overijssel.
