More and more schools seem to be stopping with surprises. It’s too much work for parents, they think. But associate professor Rolf Hut, also known as ‘the tinkering professor’, thinks it is a shame. “It’s a great opportunity for kids to turn something that’s in their heads into something that really exists.”
