F.it was finally published in Official Journal the implementing decree of Separated or divorced parents bonusor for those parents who, due to the emergency caused by Covid 19, have ceased, reduced or suspended their work and therefore fail to pay the allowance due to their spouse for child support.
Separate Parents Bonus, what you need to know
The implementing decree defines the rules and requirements for the contribution that reaches up to a maximum of 800 euros for 12 monthsfor a total of almost 10 thousand euros in one year, which is the duration of the measure.
The implementing decree is fundamental, both because it is one of the last necessary steps to start the phase of submitting the application for access to the bonus. Both because, in fact, inside it contains details, conditions and rules for having access to the bonus.

Who is it for
The bonus it is up to the separated parent in need who must provide for the maintenance of himself and of minor children, as well as of adult children with severe disabilities, cohabiting.
The necessary condition to obtain it is that the parent has not received, in whole or in part, the maintenance allowance due to parental default due to the pandemic.
In that case, the contribution will be paid in a lump sumreaching a maximum of 800 euros per month and for a period of one year.
The budget for the measure amounts to € 10 million. The bonus will be paid based on the availability of the fund and the number of applicants, until resources are exhausted.
The requirements
The requirements to be able to claim the bonus are: having had an income lower than or equal to 8,174 euros in the year for which the support is requested.
Or have had your own reduced or suspended work activity in the period from 8 March 2020, for a minimum duration of ninety days or for a reduction in income of at least 30 percent compared to that received in 2019.
Separate parents bonus, how to apply
The details for submitting the application will be available on the website of the Department of Family Policy. To obtain the assignment, the interested or interested party must submit an application that includes the amount of the maintenance allowance elamount of sums not paid to the former spouse.
The procedures for making the request will be defined with a notice, published in the coming days. For the purposes of evaluating applications, the Department will verify compliance with the income requirementsby cross-referencing the data with the Revenue Agency, and the amount of the maintenance allowance by contacting the judicial offices.
